About Formix

Modern construction, built on better walls

Formix Construction Inc. is a California company focused on insulated concrete form residential construction: durable building systems, detail-oriented planning, and honest communication.

Who we are

We specialize in ICF residential construction across Southern California. We believe homes should be built for strength, efficiency, and long-term value, not just to meet minimum code.

We are a new company and will not pretend to have decades of projects behind us. What we bring is a focused commitment to a proven building method, technical knowledge, and detail-oriented project management from first conversation through finished walls.

How we work

  • Plan first. Buildability and coordination before concrete is poured.
  • Communicate clearly. With homeowners, builders, architects, and trades.
  • Build for performance. Walls designed for durability, comfort, and fire resilience.

Process

From first call to finished walls

Good construction starts with good planning. Here is how we guide a project from consultation through completion.

  1. Step 1

    Consultation

We start with a conversation about your goals, site, timeline, and what you want from your home: comfort, efficiency, durability, and design intent.

  2. Step 2

    Site and Project Review

We review site conditions, access, constraints, and project scope to understand what is feasible and where ICF construction offers the strongest fit.

  3. Step 3

    Design / Buildability Coordination

We coordinate with your architect, designer, or plans to align structural layout, wall thickness, openings, and constructability early in the process.

  4. Step 4

    ICF System Planning

We plan the ICF wall system layout, reinforcement strategy, bracing approach, and material coordination for a smooth field installation.

  5. Step 5

    Budget and Scope Alignment

We help clarify scope, milestones, and budget expectations so you can make informed decisions before construction begins.

  6. Step 6

    Construction Coordination

During construction, we coordinate ICF installation, concrete placement, trades, inspections, and quality checkpoints through each phase.

  7. Step 7

    Final Walkthrough

We close out with a detailed walkthrough, documentation handoff, and clear communication on systems, finishes, and next steps.
